Who is TotalReport for?

I am an experienced therapist with a template I am comfortable using. How can these services help me?

That’s great that you have a set template that works for you! In that case, you can save additional time transcribing information from intake forms or testing protocols onto your report; let me take care of that, while you use that time in other constructive ways or just enjoy a cup of coffee!

Will my entire template be changed? How does it work?

No. I understand each one has a different template they like to work with/have to adhere to, and I keep that in mind while suggesting changes or providing additional input. I customize it very carefully. The final result is not only what you’re happy with, but what is acceptable and agreeable to your company and district as well.

Is the consulting only a one time thing?

No. Therapists can avail of as many consult calls/emails as they like. My purpose here is to make sure each one has ongoing support in whatever area they need, until they feel confident enough to tackle it independently.

How will the IEP prep process help me?

I have had the pleasure of working in various school districts all over the bay area, and have been witness to how some therapists seem to crumble under pressure at IEPs, especially in the presence of a lawyer/advocate. Feeling confident in your findings and in your report, making sure you leave no stone unturned, and that you have all the necessary information in your report to back you up is more than half the battle won in that case. I will conduct mock IEP sessions with questions most frequently asked to therapists, so you feel well prepared when you walk in to that meeting, ready to face any question thrown your way.

Does this service cover only evaluation reports?

No! I am offering this service not only for OT evaluation reports, but also daily notes (SOAP), weekly/biweekly progress notes, discharge documentation, etc. Initial and Triennial Reports for school districts, as well as information to input in documentation systems used by them (SEIS) for progress on existing goals and the addition of new ones.

Can’t I just avail of some ready templates?

The one most important thing that I have learnt over my years of experience, is that there is no ‘one size fits all’ for documentation. Instead of using a ready template (there are a few available online), what worked best for me was to customize my format with the knowledge I gained from each district and clinic that I worked at, and then plug in all the relevant information that I felt was necessary, on a case by case basis. This not only showcases your skills as a therapist but also feels more personal to the family.

Where are you located? How are services provided?

I am currently located in San Ramon, CA (The Bay Area). Services are exclusively provided online at the moment, given the situation with COVID, via phone calls, video calls, emails, and Zoom conference calls, as deemed appropriate and necessary. I am available 24/7 via email.
